Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey a woman of courage and conviction. In addition she is rich and she has a big heart. I was born on the same date as Oprah and I must say although I am not as rich as she is, my heart is just as huge. In this blog, I will attempt to bring back news that I find interesting about this woman, Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah Winfrey for Senate Seat?

Why not? She runs a very successful business and is one of the most powerful women in this decade. We can sure use a business minded woman to run a political office. what worst can that be?

Oprah Winfrey reacts to Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's assertion that he considered her to take over Barack Obama 's former senate seat -- and she also reveals how she feels about being in politics. Speaking on The Gayle King Show on SIRIUS XM'S Oprah & Friends channel, Oprah said, "I'm pretty amused by the whole thing.".The talk show host was speaking about comments made by Blagojevich during an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America.".Oprah told her good friend Gayle that she missed the GMA interview while she was exercising in the morning, but would have "fallen off the treadmill" if she had.[7] The case is focused on abuses of power by the governor. The pay-to-play allegations that surfaced after the governors Dec.[8] How could anyone of this standard be elected as governor is beyond any comprehension. Are IL voters all blind and sick to have supported him in the first place??[9]

No other Illinois governor has been impeached, let alone convicted in a Senate trial. It would take a two-thirds majority -- or 40 of the 59 senators -- to remove Blagojevich.[10] The House quickly voted 114-1 for impeaching the governor. That sent the case to the Senate, where it would take a two-thirds majority to convict Blagojevich and throw him out of office.[11] No other Illinois governor has been impeached, let alone convicted in a Senate trial. At least that's what we understood from Oprah's reaction to the proposal that Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich made her. In his intervention the Governor has suggested Oprah Winfrey as one of the greatest replacement for Barack Obama's now-vacant spot in the Senate."Absolutely not," said Winfrey on Monday, after watching the talk-show.[13] I recorded all of the media circuit shows the Governor appeared on so I could analyze his verbal responses with his non verbal clues. Collectively, his answers didn't fit the non verbal clues and vice versa.[14]

She has been ranked the richest African American of the 20th century, the most philanthropic African American of all time, and was once the world's only black billionaire. She is also, according to some assessments, the most influential woman in the world.[16] Senate Bill 1738, which has bipartisan support and is currently before the Senate.Winfrey, a victim of child abuse, has long been an advocate of such safeguards. In 1991, she testified to establish a national database of convicted child abusers, which was signed into effect as "The Oprah Law" two years later.[17] We have until September 26, 2008 to get this bill passed by the senate. The bill would allocate the needed funds to further protect this nation's children.[18]

The TV generation made Barack Hussein Obama -- a man with minimal political history, a dubious voting record in his short time in the senate and ties to various anti-White, anti-American and militant Black organizations. The voters didn't care about that.[19] I would really like to see her do politics. She needs to quit with the show.[20]

I can't believe that after all these years, all the things I know how to do, I'm still talking about my weight. I look at my thinner self and think, How did I let this happen again?".Winfrey admitted that she again weighed over 200 pounds.[22] Can't read the words below? PETA Names Oprah Person of the Year

Beside my Supreme Master, Oprah Winfrey is my personal favorite and a role model. Oprah is honest (yes she is an Aquarian) and avant garde. When Oprah speaks about a subject she often gives it her absolute attention and thought. She also doesn't speak about topics that are not of interests to her. Being an Aquarian, she is also humanitarian and this often reflects a great deal in her actions and speeches.

This year she shocked the world-wide audience on how badly dogs were treated in the doggy mills. While she was on this topic, she also spoke about how other animal's cruelties were afflicted on our sweet and innocent farm animals.

I've seen a tape one time where this man was brutally slapped a dog on the face. The whole episode was taped under cover and I was not sure if I could control my temper if I was there.

I was in raged. I wanted to take that man and beat him the same way that he beat that dog. What a coward I thought.

So this year Peta awarded Oprah for her heroic voices for the voiceless animals who suffered in the dark and crowded places on the farm or in the execution chambers where nobody could here them cry.

You know it is very strange how detached we really are about the connection between the piece of meat on our plate and how it got there.

I once told a friend of mine to watch this video that I got from Youtube on how a mother cow was treated awfully on a daiy farm. He was so coward that he did not want to watch it.

Please .... have mercy on them. They are just like us. If you would study their behaviors you will see that a cow, a dog, a bird, a chicken, a pig, etc... anything that has mother and father, has faces like us behaves exactly like us. In fact they are better than us in most regards.

Please have mercy on their lives so that heaven will have mercy on you.

If you have doubt ....just visit a past life hypnosis and have that person record your own voice of where you were in between lives. Ask "yourself" about killing the animals for food and what that would do to you when you pass over. Don't just sit there and say that you don't believe in past lives -- proves to yourself.

Well it is my 2 cents --
